3.    I will need you to provide me with some personal data. As a minimum, I will always need your name, address, date of birth and contact details, and I will need you to verify your identity with your passport and other official documents.

 

For companies, it is likely that I will need a copy of the certificate of incorporation, the Constitution and the personal data of the directors.

If you provide  the personal data of a third party, you  confirm and warrant  that it is accurate and complete, that you have permission from that third party to share their data and that they consent to their data being used in accordance with this policy  and the services we provide to you including the transfer of that data to others

4.  I need this information:

  • So that I can keep in contact with you;

  • To comply with my Regulatory obligation to verify your identity;

  • To provide you with advice/discuss the circumstances of your case with you as necessary;

  • To deal with third parties on your behalf.

 

Your failure to provide me with sufficient information to identify you and verify your identity will mean that I am unable to fulfill the Regulatory obligations that I have, and inevitably it will mean that I cannot act for you.

 

5. Your personal data is processed only by contacting you or a third party  in accordance  with one of the following legal bases:

  • Your  consent;

  • To comply with or carry out my duties to you;

  • Because I have a Regulatory obligation imposed upon me;

  • My other legitimate interests, such as delivering services to you providing you with further details of my services, quality control, audit and processing management information.

 

6.   I may need to share your data with others, including Regulatory Authorities, Insurers and Auditors, our suppliers, and external agencies that I use to process information and data on my behalf. These organisations will include the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and, where relevant, the UK Consular Office of the country where the documents that I have prepared for you are to be sent to be used.

 

In addition, your data may be sent to a third-party lawyer or agent that you have already instructed. Where this lawyer or agent is resident or situated in a non-EU country, the laws surrounding the protection of data may not be as stringent as this country  and other EU jurisdictions.

 

Should you require any further information on the applicable law of the jurisdiction where your data or document is to be sent you should contact your foreign lawyer or agent.

 

7.   Your data  will be retained as follows:

For a minimum period of twelve years for Notarial non-Public Form documents that I have prepared for you; and

Indefinitely in respect of the Notarial Public form documents that I have prepared for you.

For anything else six years.  

 

8.   You have  the right to;

  • Request  access to any personal data or information of yours that I hold, whether provided by you or a third party;

  • Request the review or rectification of inaccurate information;

  • Request your personal data to be erased;

  • Object to the processing or request a restriction on the further processing of your personal data;

  • Request that I do not use your data in any autonomous decision-making process;

  • Request the transfer of your data in an electronic format;

  • You won't usually have to pay a fee to access your personal information. However, before I release data to you, I will need to satisfy myself with your identity before the requested information is released to you.

 

9.   You have the right to withdraw your consent to the further processing of your data at any time.

 

10. In Relation to my  website

10.1 I will receive, collect and store the information you enter on my website or provide in any other way. In addition, I will collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet.

 Software tools may be used to measure and collect session information, including page response times, the length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

 

10.2 Non-personal and Personal Information is collected  for the following purposes:

·       To provide and operate the Services;

·       To provide  Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

·       To be able to contact Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

·       To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which  may be  used to provide and improve my  services; 

·       To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

 

10.3 This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with an online platform that allows me to promote my services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

 

10.4 To improve your experience on this website,  'cookies' may be used in association with Google Analytics. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser.

Google Analytics is a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United Kingdom. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.
